About the people and their home

People at Newton House enjoy day trips including trips to the New Forest, Windsor, Beale Park, Living Rain Forest and coastal areas such as Boscombe and Bournemouth. Each person at Newton House has individual goals, from being more active - going for daily walks and weekly swimming - to working on a local farm project developing skills in animal care.

Our support team work alongside them to encourage their independence and sense of value within the local community, promoting their wellbeing and achieving their goals. This includes shopping trips to local stores, pubs, cafes and restaurants. They choose activities that are meaningful to them and the team provide person-centred support. Chosen activities include horse riding, trampolining, cooking, recycling, arts & crafts and word searches. The focus is for people to lead happy lives and encourage a ‘can-do’ approach for them to reach their full potential.

About you
Although it would be beneficial to have some experience of healthcare work, it isn’t absolutely necessary as we provide full training. As long as you’re passionate, hard-working and empathetic, you’ll fit right in.

Join the team today and begin sharing moments and shaping lives.
