Are you an experienced Project Engineer with a background in Engineering, and are you seeking a contract role?!
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join an Engineering business in Havant (Bedhampton), this role is initially a 3 month contract and comes within an hourly rate between £50 - £55 per hour.
The hiring manager is looking for someone who can work on site for up to 3 days per week, some occasional weekend working may be required in the future, but ideally the working hours will be days Monday to Friday.
The hiring manager is someone who can work in a team of three, and has experience with raising and sending quotations, liaising with contractors and will be hands on themselves when it comes to day to day Engineering tasks that need completing.
There is a good chance that this project will likely last longer than 3 months, but this will come down to your drive and amibition when it comes to other projects and activities that need completing.
What You Will Do:
• Liaise with contractors daily to ensure smooth project execution.
• Raise and provide quotations, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Drive various projects and activities, contributing to the company's operational goals.
• Perform hands-on engineering duties to support project requirements.
• Collaborate effectively within a team to deliver results.
• Champion best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Bring:
• A solid engineering background, with practical experience in project environments.
• Previous experience with Project Engineering and experience with seeing a project through from start to finish.
• Strong organisational skills to manage quotations and paperwork with precision.
• Excellent communication abilities for liaising with contractors and team members.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to drive projects independently.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work within a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
