Do you have a spare 15 hours a week to support a 62 year lady to gain confidence to access her local area?
My mother is looking for a personal assistant to encourage and support her to enjoy activities that she used to enjoy before her last hospital admission.
My mother has a really loving and supportive family and adores spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoys visiting coffee chops, going for walks and taking pride in her garden.
Episodes of poor mental health have been part of her life for a number of years and so having a Personal Assistant who is positive, supportive and encouraging will be vital to help her start to regain some confidence and independence.
The PA must also have a driving license as my mum attends ECT on Tuesday mornings in Eastbourne, which start at 8:45am and sessions may run for an hour or two. ECT sessions may also run on Friday mornings, so availability on Friday may be needed, but this is to be discussed. They must accompany her to and from ECT sessions and stay in the building whilst the session is happening.
