Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School of Science and Public Services. This role is perfectly suited to someone with experience of uniformed and/or public services.

We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic about making a difference to the lives and careers of our learners.

Whilst teaching experience would be a bonus, we are keen to hear from people with a high level of industry knowledge and career experience that they can impart to others. Teacher training will be provided for the right candidate. Candidates without significant industry experience but with a criminology degree are welcome to apply.

You will join a vibrant and high-performing team, working in our well-equipped facilities, teaching across a range of public services curriculum programmes. You could be teaching across Levels 1 – 3 in Public Services.

The team and our learners already benefit from excellent links with local employers, but any opportunity to further these links is always welcomed.

The successful candidate must be confident that they can contribute to and improve our team.

You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and Maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week at our Watford campus.

You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be actively encouraged to upskill.

We have a free on site gym and you can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking, pension, generous holiday scheme, time off at Christmas and early finishes on a Friday.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 3rd August 2025. Interviews will take place week commencing 11th August 2025.
