We’re looking for an enthusiastic and solutions-focused IT Technician to join our dynamic IT team at Plumpton College. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in providing high-quality IT support across our vibrant, forward-thinking land and environmental college.
As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for delivering 1st and 2nd line support across hardware, software, and network systems to ensure a smooth, responsive IT experience for students, staff, and stakeholders. Working closely with the IT Manager and wider team, you'll ensure IT operations run efficiently across all our campuses.
What You’ll Do:
Provide timely and professional 1st and 2nd line IT support
Resolve helpdesk incidents using HALO ITSM and maintain accurate technical documentation
Assist with hardware/software rollouts, system maintenance, and asset management
Support CPD delivery and onboarding of new users
Collaborate with senior staff to implement service improvements
What We’re Looking For:
Strong communication and customer service skills
At least one year of experience in an IT helpdesk environment
IT qualification or equivalent experience
Proficiency with Microsoft client, server, and cloud systems
Full, clean UK driving licence
You’ll benefit from:
