About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our newly established, purpose-built nursery in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a nurturing environment where children’s development and curiosity are at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
Act as a key person, building secure relationships with children and families
Monitor, observe, and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records
Promote a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
Support junior practitioners and apprentices as needed
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
What We’re Looking For
A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g. CACHE, NVQ)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an early years setting (or strong placement experience)
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and child development
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to obtain)
