We are looking for a part-time Receptionist to join the team, working Monday to Friday either 08:00–12:00 or 08:30–12:30 (20 hours per week).

Based on a client floor within a private banking environment, you will act as the first point of contact for both clients and internal colleagues, providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service.

Job Description

The role involves working the reception desk, handling queries, supporting client and internal meetings, and ensuring the smooth running of the reception area.

A key part of the role will also include preparing coffees, setting up meeting rooms, and ensuring all facilities are ready for use.

This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a client-facing role, with progression and development opportunities available for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

Consistently follow ‘Entering the Building’ standards and keep Reception areas immaculately presented
Establish strong relationships with customers as the trusted go-to person
Collaborate with the Workplace Team and client to support continuous service improvement
Take responsibility for personal health, safety, and security in line with ISS guidance and legal requirements
Assist the Workplace Team Lead, CUX Partners, and client with projects, events, and ad hoc tasks
Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
Actively contribute to fostering a positive, professional workplace culture

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Corporate, hospitality, or customer service experience
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
Strong customer service skills with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks
Impeccable personal presentation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
