Summary
Are you an experienced and reliable Class 1 Shunter Driver looking for a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for two dedicated drivers to join our team on a 6-month contract, servicing a reputable client based in Evesham.
Position Details:
Location: Evesham
Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off
Working Hours: 18:00 PM - 06:00 AM (Night Shifts)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Pay Rate: £18 - £20 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Shunting and maneuvering heavy goods vehicles within the yard and loading/unloading areas
• Ensuring all vehicles are correctly positioned and safely secured
• Conducting basic vehicle inspections and reporting any issues
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Maintaining accurate records of shifts and vehicle movements
Candidate Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license
• Proven experience in shunting and yard work
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts
• Good communication skills and team attitude
