Summary


Adferiad Recovery delivers a flexible and coordinated response to the exceptional circumstances faced by people with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions and related issues. Vulnerable people facing complex life challenges need consistent and seamless support to ensure they remain engaged with vital health and wellbeing services – and to prevent them becoming disenfranchised and isolated.

Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: £25,809.30 per annum (pro rata)

Based at: Gwent

Role Purpose:

The GCIAAS service is designed to provide Information, Advice and Assistance to unpaid carers with the aim of supporting them in their caring role and encouraging them to look after their wellbeing.
The key principles of the service are.
• To improve the lives of unpaid carers across Gwent and to equip them with skills, knowledge, and coping strategies to ensure their own well-being.
• Raise awareness of unpaid carers
• Identify unpaid/hidden carers.
• Promote an environment where the carer has a voice in the planning and delivery of care.

Please note a full driver’s license and full access to a car is an essential requirement of this role.
