Are you an experienced RTA Paralegal with strong MOJ/OIC Portal expertise looking for your next challenge?
Our client is a progressive and fast-growing law firm dedicated to delivering results-driven legal services. With an expanding Personal Injury department, they are now seeking an experienced RTA Paralegal to join their dynamic and friendly team on a full-time, office-based basis.
You will manage your own caseload of RTA claims from inception to settlement, with a strong focus on matters within the MOJ and OIC Portals.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience dealing with portal claims and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Experienced Paralegal, CILEX, or experienced Fee Earner with equivalent expertise
• Minimum 2 years of experience dealing with MOJ and OIC Portal RTA claims
• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant case law
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client care skills
• Ability to manage own caseload with minimal supervision
• Proficient in using case management systems and Microsoft Office
What will your role look like?
• Handle a caseload of pre- and post-litigation RTA claims (MOJ/OIC Portals)
• Assess liability and quantum, ensuring all claims are progressed efficiently
• Prepare court documents and comply with court deadlines
• Liaise with clients, insurers, and third parties regularly
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and relevant regulatory bodies (SRA, LEXCEL, etc.)
• Meet billing targets and contribute to team KPIs
