Summary
Specific duties may include:
Vehicle Preparation:
Stripping out existing van interiors, removing seats, and preparing the van for conversion.
Insulation and Lining:
Installing insulation and lining the van walls, ceiling, and floor to regulate temperature and reduce noise.
Furniture Installation:
Building and fitting campervan furniture like cabinets, beds, and seating areas.
Electrical System Installation:
Installing wiring, lighting, sockets, and leisure batteries, including connecting appliances like refrigerators and Microwaves.
Plumbing Installation:
Installing water tanks, pumps, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures for a campervan's water system.
Window and Roof Installation:
Fitting windows,
Appliances and Accessories:
Installing various campervan appliances like refrigerators, cooktops, and heating systems.
Finishing and Detailing:
Applying finishing touches like painting, and sealing to ensure a high-quality finish.
Testing and Inspection:
Thoroughly testing all systems and components to ensure proper functionality before handover.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Performing routine maintenance and repairs on campervans, including electrical and plumbing systems.
Health and Safety:
Adhering to health and safety regulations in the workshop and during the conversion process.
Customer Communication:
Communicating with customers about the conversion process and addressing any concerns or questions.
General Workshop Tasks:
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, assisting with deliveries, and performing other tasks as needed.
