Childcare Support Liaison – Term Time Only
Location: 5 nursery settings in Wallington close to each other
Salary: £14 Per hour
Job Type: Full time- Monday- Friday 9am-4pm
The Childcare Support Liaison plays a vital role in maintaining high-quality care and compliance across our 5 nursery sites. This role involves traveling between settings to provide hands-on support where needed, ensuring staff-to-child ratios are met, and upholding a consistent standard of care. The liaison acts as a flexible team member who steps in during periods of staff absence, high enrolment and to cover staff training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-the-floor childcare support at various nursery locations as directed.
• Ensure child-to-staff ratios are maintained in accordance with EYFS and regulatory requirements.
• Step into different roles as needed: classroom support, mealtime supervision, toileting, settling in children, etc.
• Support nursery teams during staff absences, peak hours, or special events.
• Communicate effectively with nursery managers and staff to understand specific site needs.
Requirements:
• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare, Required
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Flexibility to travel to multiple locations on short notice
