Summary

The MHST Support Worker role will: Work closely alongside a team of mental health professionals delivering a wide range of evidence informed interventions Develop and practice evidence-based skills under supervision to work with children, young people and families. Develop and practice evidence-based skills to carry out whole school approach activities including groups. Carry out observations of young people within various settings which may lead to a diagnosis. Support co-production as well as the use of social media within the service. The Education Mental Health Practitioner is required to: Demonstrate and evidence they have some knowledge of the education system Have experience of working with children and young people, their families and others.
