Summary
Tiddlywinks Nursery Group are looking for a dynamic, passionate, inspirational, and
committed person to join their hardworking outstanding team based at our Milnrow setting.
You must have at least 3 years post qualification day nursery experience. We will not consider
candidates who do not hold a Level 3 Childcare Qualification. (or equivalent).
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and 3 suitable references.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): ·
· Assisting the Nursery Manager (or to be responsible in their absence) for the overall
management of the nursery to include updating management systems, completing orders,
conducting meetings with staff members and ensuring effective staff deployment.
· Supporting the care and education of the children in the nursery within a key person
structure, promoting good practice and being a role model for other staff and children.
· Assisting the team leaders in arranging the deployment of staff in the room and be
responsible for ensuring that all requirements are still met in the absence of a team leader.
· Assist the Nursery Manager and nursery staff in providing a dynamic, active learning
environment for the children on a day-to-day basis.
· Responsible for the children’s social and educational development, observing and
monitoring children’s progress and development.
· Ensuring that the safeguarding and welfare of the children is always paramount in the
nursery and ensuring overall compliance with statutory legislations and frameworks.
· Prepare for Ofsted inspections and support in ensuring any recommendations that may
result from inspection.
· Work to Tiddlywinks policies, procedures and directed tasks.
· In addition, you will be confident with and have experience of providing an excellent
customer service.
· You will have a good understanding of health and safety requirements and have a genuine
enthusiasm for working with children.
