Summary

Help Shape Positive Change

We’re looking for a Business Change Manager to support exciting digital transformation across the university. If you have strong communication skills, engagement, and networking skills with experience in planning for, supporting and guiding people through business change, this role could be for you.

Join our dynamic Business Change Management team within the IT Portfolio and be part of our resource pool, working on a variety of strategic projects. Current initiatives include CRM, ServiceNow, Windows 10 upgrades, the Student App, Digital Innovation and Capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the project team to identify and manage business changes, this will include people, processes, and system changes; building change management plans to help teams’ transition effectively.
Work to fully understand the impact of these changes and partner with colleagues across the university to implement the changes through effective planning, communication and training.
Develop and deliver clear communication and engagement plans.
Collaborate with colleagues to create supporting materials such as guidance, FAQs, and training resources.
Facilitate engagement activities, workshops, and feedback sessions.
Advocate for and understand users, ensuring changes are practical and well-supported.
Who We’re Looking For

A track record of establishing effective networks and working collaboratively to lead and drive change within projects, programmes or across the university to deliver long-term, strategically aligned outcomes.
Ability to think from a user’s perspective and support change adoption.
A highly professional approach, be able to work with staff at all levels.
Experience in developing change plans and resources, leading engagement activities and workshops.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new change management methodology, techniques and approaches as well as bringing some knowledge and experience in this area.
Good organisation skills with a strong attention to detail, able to persevere with tasks until they are accomplished, irrespective of obstacles.
Work Environment:

Our office is based at Guildhall square, with opportunities for regular flexible working and working from home upon agreement with your line manager.
