Summary

Location: Regional ideally based Essex/North London/Hertfordshire

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Pay: £37,960 per annum plus £3k car allowance or £6k electric car allowance

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

As a Regional Trainer, you’ll work closely with your Learning and Development colleagues, General Managers, and their teams in our care homes to identify development needs, design impactful learning experiences, and support talent strategies that drive performance and engagement. You’ll help shape a high-performance culture where learning is part of everyone’s day and achievements are celebrated!

As a Regional Trainer at Oakland Care you will be responsible for:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to assess the development needs of our team members and deliver tailored solutions
  • Design, deliver and evaluate bespoke learning programmes across a range of topics
  • Support performance and career development frameworks, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with external partners and internal subject matter experts where needed.
  • Champion a learning culture across the business
  • Providing regular reports to both the Head of Learning and Development and General Managers

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience in Learning and Development, preferably in the Health and Social Care sector.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to deliver hands-on learning solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of contemporary dementia care practices
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and blended learning approaches.
  • Passionate about making learning fun!

  • Ability to engage and motivate others
  • Flexible to meet the needs of the business
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with good attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of e-learning and other online learning systems
