Summary

Document Control Specialist (Construction Focus)
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Contract: Temporary (with potential for extension)
We are currently seeking a Document Control Specialist to support a high-volume workload within a fast-paced construction environment. This is an opportunity to join a team working on major national retail projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Uploading and managing project documentation and technical drawings
• Issuing documents and drawings to internal and external stakeholders
• Organising and maintaining digital filing systems
• Monitoring and managing a busy inbox of incoming project documentation from a major national retailer
• Ensuring version control and compliance with document standards

️ Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in document control within the construction industry is highly desirable.
• Strong technical and IT skills, particularly with document management systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

⏳ Contract Details:

• Temporary position initially, with the possibility of extension depending on workload and performance
• Immediate start available

£25,000
23 days holiday + bank holiday
30-37.5 hours
