An exciting full time opportunity has arisen within the Training and Vocational Initiatives in Personality Disorder Team (TVI-PD) team, who are looking for a hardworking and compassionate Training and Administration Manager to provide effective administrative and business support to the team.
The TVI-PD Team is a provider of training in personality disorder located in Oxford Health, and it sits alongside and works closely with the Oxfordshire Complex Needs Service (clinical service for personality disorder). The Oxfordshire CNS Service Lead is responsible for both parts of the service.
The TVI-PD team delivers training and consultancy services to both statutory and third sector organisations across the South of England. They collaborate with a range of organisations, including ex-service user groups, to develop effective services for people with personality disorders and complex psychological and emotional needs.

The successful applicant will join an established, friendly and supportive staff team who are are dedicated and passionate about the care they deliver and improving outcomes for adults with personality disorder.
Main duties of the jobThe successful applicant will:
Be responsible for the provision of effective administrative support to the TVI-PD team.
- Provide an efficient and effective secretarial and administrative service for the team ensuring it is organised and efficiently run.
- Contribute to the continuing development and modernization of administrative processes within the service.
- Be responsible for the promotion of the service through participation in professional networks and committees locally and nationally.
- Be responsible for the management of sessional Support Time and Recovery (STR) workers who hold Honorary contracts within the team, as well as STARS (ex-service users) who are core contributors within the TVI-PD training program.

Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria- Level 2 English and Maths qualification (Grade C/Level 4 or above GCSE or other equivalent qualification)
- Formal secretarial/administrative training (RSA2 or equivalent)
- Has undertaken advanced IT training/qualification
- Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good team worker
- Excellent timekeeping, able to manage and prioritise own workload
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- Ability to work autonomously and using initiative
- Ability to cope effectively under pressure
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft systems and Office software
- Proficient at word processing, copy/audio typing
- Demonstrates excellent organisational skills including managing diary systems and tracking information
- Proficient at data entry and creating and managing spreadsheets
- Has general clerical skills, e.g. filing, systems, correspondance
- Understanding of Data Protection Act
- Previous office administration experience at a senior level
- Experience of organising/managing an admin service
- Experience of creating and working with spreadsheets
- Experience of dealing with complex and challenging situations
- Experience of managing/supporting staff
- Experience of managing finance at a team level
- Previous NHS experience
- Understanding of Personality Disorder
