Summary
Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for an individual to become a Machine Operator with our established employee-owned East Kilbride based client. Please note that the successful candidate must have previous Machine Operating experience.
Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
What's on offer?
- Full-time position, 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Eligibility for the client's profit-sharing bonus scheme
- 32 days annual leave
Working as a Machine Operator you will be responsible for:
- Operating a wide range of production machinery
- Inspecting finished items ensuring they are of the highest quality
- Cleaning production machinery
- Informing Supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues
To be successful as a Machine Operator you will have previous machine operating experience, ideally in a production, manufacturing or similar environment. Combined with a good level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; the ability to read mechanical detail drawings; and great attention to detail. The successful candidate will also have previous experience operating a manual horizontal borer.
