About Us:
We are a growing business specializing in the wholesale of school uniforms. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Online and In-store Sales Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth handling and management of large quantities of stock imported from abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of stock. Ensure accurate inventory records are maintained and regularly updated.
Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to manage stock replenishment. Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
Logistics Coordination: Manage the logistics of importing stock from international suppliers. Handle customs documentation and ensure compliance with import regulations.
Order Fulfilment: Assist in the picking, packing, and dispatching of orders. Ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain an organized and clean warehouse. Implement best practices for storage and handling of goods.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming stock for quality and report any discrepancies or damages. Ensure that all products meet our quality standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations. Provide support and assistance as needed.
Expanding into the wholesale school uniform market is an exciting step for our small business! With this growth, it is essential to ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Currently, with three staff members, managing the logistics of importing school uniforms from abroad can become quite challenging. Here are a few reasons why we believe an additional worker is necessary:
Increased Workload: The expansion into wholesale means a significant increase in the volume of orders and inventory to manage. An additional worker can help distribute the workload more evenly, ensuring that tasks are completed promptly and efficiently.
Specialized Skills: Importing goods from abroad involves dealing with customs, shipping regulations, and international suppliers. Having an additional staff member with expertise in logistics and import procedures can streamline these processes and reduce the risk of delays or errors.
Customer Service: With the expansion, we will likely see an increase in customer inquiries and orders. An additional worker can help maintain high levels of customer service by promptly addressing questions and concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Operational Efficiency: More hands on deck mean that our business can operate more smoothly. An additional worker can assist with inventory management, order processing, and other logistical tasks, allowing our existing staff to focus on their core responsibilities.
Scalability: As our business continues to grow, having an additional worker will make it easier to scale operations. This proactive approach ensures that we can handle increased demand without compromising on quality or efficiency.
