Summary

We're looking for a Mobile Caretaker to join our Norwich Schools PFI team based in Norwich.



Location: Norwich, Norfolk

Hours: 40 hours



What will you be responsible for?As a Mobile Caretaker, you'll be working within the Norwich Schools PFI team, supporting them in delivering high-quality facilities management services across school sites.

Your day to day will include:

-Carrying out planned and remedial maintenance tasks, including fire alarm testing, water temperature checks, and shower head cleaning

-Liaising with the Facilities Coordinator and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations and compliance

-Conducting weekly internal and external building inspections and reporting issues

-Providing hosting services and room setups for meetings

-Supporting with furniture moves, ad hoc tasks, and holiday/sickness cover for caretaking and cleaning staff



What are we looking for?This role of Mobile Caretaker is great for you if:

-You have previous experience in caretaking or handyman duties and hold a clean driving license

-You are physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks safely

-You are calm, adaptable, and committed to delivering excellent customer service
