Summary
This role supports TCV in enabling people and communities to improve their health, prospects, and outdoor places. The role manages TCV projects, delivering one or more services which contribute to local operational plans and towards the achievement of TCV's strategic plan. The key to achieving this will be the successful recruitment and management of Volunteers, the management of resources and the management of budgets, external relationships and/or the local site.
The purpose of this role is to support TCV and the Nurturing Natural Connections Project Manager in the delivery of a five-year engagement programme to enable people and communities to improve their health, prospects, and outdoor places in Cumbernauld.
The candidate must have experience at a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification and have experience of recruiting, managing, leading and managing groups volunteer groups. Can plan and implement practical projects and events. You will work in partnership with other organisations, and community groups and have knowledge of implementing health initiatives to improve wellbeing in volunteers. Extensive knowledge of Scottish flora and fauna species and the challenges they face against climate change and biodiversity loss

Nurturing Natural Connections will be delivered through the Cumbernauld Living Landscape initiative, a partnership led by the Scottish Wildlife Trust, and builds upon the success of the programme's previous project, Creating Natural Connections.
Nurturing Natural Connections is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
A full, clean or near clean UK driving licence is required for this post, which has been held for a minimum of one year.
To fulfil the role, you must be resident in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
