Your new role
As a General Carpenter, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including framing, fitting, finishing, and general woodwork on-site. You'll work closely with site managers and other trades to ensure projects are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a carpenter in residential or commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry)
- Own tools and reliable transport preferred
