JOB ADVERT – DUCT FITTER & MATE PAIR NEEDED – LIVERPOOL STREET, LONDON
Role: 1x Duct Pair (Duct Fitter & Duct Mate)
Location: Liverpool Street, Central London
Start Date: Immediate Start
Project Duration: 4 Weeks (Due to complete by August 26th)
Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 or 08:00 – 18:00 (Monday to Friday)
Potential Weekend Work: Available if necessary
POSITION DETAILS:
We are currently seeking an experienced Duct Fitter and Mate Pair to join an active welfare fit-out project located in the heart of Liverpool Street, London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile site with a well-established M&E contractor.
The ideal candidates will be a reliable, hard-working team with a proven track record of ductwork installation and welfare system fit-outs.
ROLES & RATES:
Duct Fitter: £28.00 per hour
Duct Mate: £16.50 per hour
Both roles must be fully qualified with valid CSCS cards.
Duct Fitter must have experience in independent and team-based ductwork installations. Blue/Gold CSCS Card.
Duct Mate must be competent in assisting the fitter, handling tools/materials, and working safely on-site. Green CSCS Card.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The job involves full welfare fit-out duties, including (but not limited to):
Installation of supply and extract ductwork
Support bracketry and framework installation
Work within risers and tight internal areas
Final fix and commissioning support
Adhering to strict health & safety regulations
Reading and interpreting ducting drawings
PROJECT TIMELINE:
Immediate start available
Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00 or extended to 18:00 if needed
Duration: 4 weeks
End date: Targeted completion by Monday 26th August
Potential for weekend work to meet deadlines or support other phases
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid CSCS Card (Essential for both roles)
Tools and PPE (Fitter must have a full set of hand and power tools)
Proven experience in ducting and HVAC systems
Strong understanding of health & safety procedures on-site
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
