Summary

Reporting into the Marketing & Comms Delivery Lead, this role will be a pivotal link between key stakeholders across the organisation and our creative and delivery teams. It will be responsible for the delivery of our marketing and communications, focused on work that has a ‘planned channel response’ requirement using our owned and earned channels. To achieve this the role needs to work collaboratively with the Content & Creative teams, Channel Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and Activity Owners across the organisation. A close ally of the Traffic Managers, other Delivery Managers and teams within Strategic Communications, this role will facilitate the creation and delivery of a range of work based on the direction set by our annual MarComms calendar. Bringing marketing and comms knowledge and expertise to inform the creation of briefs and channel plans, this role will make sure all work created is of a high standard and delivers against the brief’s objectives. This role will be the driving force behind achieving good outcomes for the organisation, making sure decisions are made and deadlines are met, pulling together the right people to enable the creation and delivery of great, audience led work. This role will be responsible for ensuring we have the right information from across the organisation to deliver our marketing and comms requirements. It will be responsible for making sure our briefing processes are being followed correctly, and that the teams delivering our marketing and comms have the information they need to produce work we can be proud of. Role specific objectives/tasks include:Responsible for the creation of creative briefs, and for briefing this work into creative and delivery teams. Working closely with Traffic Managers and team managers in the Content & Creative team to make sure all work is delivered against the brief and on time.Collaboratively produce schedules or timelines for all work, informing Activity Owners and key stakeholders, to ensure all parties are able to meet the requirements of the work. Lead the creation of channel plans to deliver the requirements of our marketing and comms activities Build relationships with Activity Owners and key stakeholders, making sure you gather the right information to enable the delivery of work, and manage the lifecycle of the process to enable teams to meet deadlines. Make decisions as appropriate and escalate any issues to the Marketing & Communications Delivery Lead.Work closely with the Traffic Managers to secure the right level of resource, and the right skills, to deliver each brief. Regularly report to the Marketing & Communications Delivery Lead on the status of work, identifying issues early to enable solutions to be found and to limit any disruption.Champion the use of tools and/or processes to facilitate better delivery management. Provide support to other Delivery team members when necessary.Essential skills, knowledge and experience: Delivery management in either a graphic design or brand agency, or in-house team Experience and knowledge of marketing and communications Experience of comms management and campaign delivery Understanding and experience of writing different levels of creative briefsExperience of working with creative and digital delivery teams, with a clear understanding of the different disciplines within themExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAnalytical and problem-solving capabilityStakeholder managementDesirable skills, knowledge and experience:Experience of working within a large charity or other complex organisation Experience of work management systemsExperience of working within different delivery processes Knowledge of Traffic Management principlesThis is a Permanent Full-Time role for 37.5 hours per week.
