About the Role:
Join our prestigious island resort team for an exceptional seasonal opportunity. Combine your professional expertise with island living in one of the UK's most beautiful archipelagos. We have a superb position available on the Scilly Isles to cover our reception and reservations team up to the end of the season (Nov 25). This role offers live in accommodation and complimentary assistance with travel to the island.
The ideal receptionist will have:
• Proven experience with ResLynx or similar PMS systems
• Previous reservations experience in luxury hospitality
• Excellence in customer service and communication
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure during peak booking periods
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing all aspects of the reservation process through ResLynx
• Converting enquiries into confirmed bookings
• Maximizing room revenue through effective rate management
• Handling guest correspondence professionally and promptly
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure guest requirements are met
• Managing booking modifications and cancellations
• Providing detailed handovers between shifts
