Summary

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and patient individuals to join our team as bank support staff for a lady who is non-verbal autism, with epilepsy, and learning disabilities. She requires consistent, person-centred 1-2-1 care to support her in her home and community.

She has many interests, including going for drives in her car, ( driver required ) listening to music on her tape player, enjoys drinking and eating snacks. As well as going for walks (with supervision and encouragement.

Support Needs

At Home: 1:1 support and In the Community: 2:1 support
Supervision while eating is essential to reduce the risk of choking or aspiration pneumonia.
Assistance with bathing (twice daily) and personal care is required for this role
Our client can display challenging behaviour, especially with unfamiliar staff. So a patient, resilient person with prior experience is required Someone who can building trust and rapport is key.

Candidates Will Be:

Experienced in supporting individuals with autism, epilepsy, and learning disabilities
Calm, patient, and observant
Able to follow detailed care plans and safety protocols
Reliable – routine is key
Confident working both independently and as part of a team
Must be female
Daytime, Evening and Sleep-In ( cover 7 days a week )
