Summary
The part-time Handyperson will carry out practical household maintenance and repairs to a high standard of workmanship in the homes of older people living in Milton Keynes. You will fit security and safety devices and carry out minor adaptations in the home, enabling our clients to live independently and feel safe at home. You will be responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels of fixings and materials and ensuring company equipment is regularly maintained.
Tasks may include:
Putting up a curtain track
Minor plumbing jobs e.g. unblocking sinks
Small woodwork jobs
Changing a light bulb
Fitting grab and stair rails
Fitting/replacing toilet seats
Minor repairs e.g. replacing unsafe broken slabs
Assembling flat pack furniture
Installation of keysafes
