The Country Parks provide a range of services to its visitors and the receptionists posts are vital in providing the frontline aspect of this service. The posts will oversee reception areas, telephone and emails, facility bookings, record keeping, sales, information provision and secretarial support to Parks & Woodland staff.

Candidates must have proven reliability and experience in front facing role, cash handling, good experience and confidence in delivering good all-round customer service, good computer literacy skills, good written and oral communication skills, demonstrate ability to work efficiently and in an organised manner, and show good time management.

Receptionists will be given corporate and inhouse training in advance of carrying out any shift on their own. Shift detailed below: -

Beecraigs Visitor Centre

X 1 Permanent Post

Summer: Wed 14:05 – 19:10 (5hours 5mins), Thurs & Fri 09:00 – 19:10 (each day 9hours 30mins) with two 20 minute breaks

Late Summer: Wed 13:00 – 17:00 (4hours), Thurs & Fri 09:00 – 17:00 (each day 7hours 30mins) with a 30 minute breaks

Winter: 2week pattern

Week 1: Wed, Thu & Fri 10:00 – 16:00 (5hours 30mins) with a 30min break

Week 2: Thu & Fri (5hours 30mins) with a 30min break
