Summary
Title: LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver / HGV Driver The Best Connection are working with a prestige client within the hull area and seek the following:
Class CE Driver Day drivers and trampers for a ongoing role with a logistics company within Hull.
Curtain side continental trailer work from ferry to supplier
Over 2 years experience on cat CE is a must and no more than 6 points on licence ,no dd dr or in10 convictions
Drivers must be over 25 for insurance purposes
Driver requirements: Must be able to strip down trailers and have knowledge in the field of port work Able to strap and secure loads Delivery is around UK from ports as Immingham and can be multi drop on trailers if required . No London work but southern trips may be within the role Drivers are also responsible for truck cleanliness ,paperwork and downloading of tacho card as needed Start times vary from 0400- onward daily runs or tramping runs may be client discretion PPE must include hi vis boots and safety helmet due to nature of dock work
Drivers will be required to use maximum hours legally on day runs and whilst tramping drivers also must follow tacho rules
