Summary
Our client, based in Stourbridge, a Foundry known throughout Europe for producing high quality, technically challenging stainless steel & iron castings, requires a foundry operative to join their team.
Shifts: Days and nights (flexible start and finish times) Pay rate: £12.60 - £13.00 per hour dependent on experience What You Need: Experience in foundry core-making is preferred Work safely with tools and equipment Be careful, detail-focused, and able to solve problems Good communication skills and able to work independently Able to read and follow production programs and instructions Duties/responsiblities: Follow production schedules to meet targets Communicate and work well with the team Always wear the correct safety gear Use equipment safely and follow lifting guidelines Able to lift 25kg and handle cores safely Operate pneumatic (air-powered) equipment safely Maintain equipment in good condition and report problems Set up machines and adjust settings Check tools and report any issues Use measuring tools like gauges or jigs Inspect work to meet company and customer standards Report any delays or material problems Communicate with team and supervisors to keep work efficient Other benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Limited include: 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Online payslips.
