We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Music Therapist to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary teams across two of our specialist hospital services in the south region. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills to support individuals with complex neurological and mental health needs.
About the Role:
You will provide high-quality, evidence-based music therapy services as part of holistic care plans at:
Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre (15 hours per week) a specialist hospital supporting adults with acquired brain injury and complex neurorehabilitation needs.
Holybourne Hospital (7.5 hours per week) an acute mental health hospital providing specialist inpatient care for adults with severe and complex mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group music therapy sessions tailored to patient needs and goals.
Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
Contribute to assessments, treatment planning, and outcomes reporting.
Support emotional expression, communication, and rehabilitation through music.
What We're Looking For:
HCPC-registered Music Therapist.
Experience working in hospital-based neurological rehabilitation and/or mental health settings is desirable.
A creative, flexible, and person-centred approach.
Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
Ability to travel between the two hospital sites.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
