About the role
We are looking for a Science Teacher with expertise in any of the three core sciences (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) to teach at a leading Leeds-based secondary school from September 2025. Full-time, this position will see you inspire KS3 and KS4 learners with possible KS5 teaching for the right candidate.

Essential Requirements- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Knowledge of current science curriculum and exam frameworks
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

Key Responsibilities
- Teach engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
- Deliver both theoretical and practical content
- Use data to inform lesson planning and interventions
- Conduct experiments safely with student engagement
- Prepare resources and equipment for practical lessons
- Assess student progress and provide clear feedback
- Develop high-quality displays and learning materials
- Organise science clubs or competitions
- Stay current with developments in science education
- Encourage participation in science fairs and trips
