Essential Requirements
  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and exam specifications
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Prepare pupils for GCSE exams through targeted intervention
  • Use assessments to inform teaching strategies
  • Develop creative approaches to explain abstract concepts
  • Encourage mathematical reasoning and fluency
  • Promote numeracy across the curriculum
  • Create classroom resources tailored to diverse learners
  • Lead or support maths enrichment activities
  • Contribute to department planning and moderation
  • Promote confidence and resilience in mathematical learning
