Summary
Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering business in their search for a Toolmaker to work in Wigan
Job Details:
• Pay: £35,500 - £38,532 per annum
• Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, early finish on Fridays
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: 25 days holiday and plenty of overtime available
Job Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building tools, jigs, dies, and moulds, repairing existing equipment, operating manual lathes and grinders, using CAD/CAM software, and interpreting complex engineering drawings to manufacture bespoke parts.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
• Proven toolmaking experience
• Experience working for a precision engineering company
• Apprentice-trained Toolmaker or similar qualification
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
• CNC programming experience
• CAD/CAM experience
