We are currently recruiting for a Production Planner to join an employer of choice in Hereford. This is a great opportunity to join a successful team during a period of growth.
As Production Planner you will:
- Support full customer contact service including order progressing, expediting deliveries, initiating order amendments and operating sales support system
- Plan, schedule and route products to meet material/delivery requirements, for orders and enquiries using the computerised systems to control orders, material supply and work in progress.
- Monitor, coordinate and participate in the activities of control systems, including outwork requirements.
- Translate customer order documentation and relevant approved specifications inherent in the job.
- Control and coordinate the scheduling of material/orders and their process routes, maintaining process and other stocks at minimum levels, cycling slow moving stock effectively.
- Control all aspects of the manufacturing cycle taking corrective actions to meet due dates and minimise late orders.
- Translate customer documentation into clear manufacturing instructions by calculation, identification, recording and route compilation.
- Give a full customer contact service including processing orders, resolving problems, liaising with Warehouse and Dispatch to expedite deliveries, effecting amendments to customer orders through sales support.
