Uphall Primary School is a non-denominational school serving the community of Uphall and Ecclesmachan. It sits within the Broxburn Cluster. We currently have 207 pupils in the school and a well-attended ELC provision.
The school senior leadership team comprises of the Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher and a Principal Teacher. The school has a clerical assistant and requires an administration assistant.
Relationships are at the heart of Uphall Primary School and we work closely with our families to achieve the best outcomes for our children. We are looking for an administration assistant to join our positive and friendly staff team.
The Administrative Assistant role is to ensure efficient support in the operation of all administrative processes within the school. Assist senior staff by providing accurate, up to date information in various key areas including finance and pupil information. Deliver first line enquiry service to all internal and external school contacts.
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
