Summary

Part time, 15 hours per week Term Time plus 3 INSET daysGrade 13, £25,183 - £27,269 FTE, actual starting salary pro rata'd of £8,653Come and join the Nailsea School and Sixth Form Patoral Team! We are looking for a positive, proactive individual to be part of the wider Pastoral Team, and help in managing student attendance.You will play a key role in supporting and managing attendance across all Key Stages, through employing a First Day Calling system and ensuring the accuracy of recording absences, in liaison with parents/carers, teachers and key pastoral staff. To be successful in this role, you will:work accurately under the pressure of deadlines, and have a methodical approach to tasks, working work independently, as well as part of a wider teampossess excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and have a good telephone manner, able to be confident in dealing with both student and parental queries on attendance issueshave an understanding of the safeguarding needs of studentshave a firm, yet friendly approachWhat we can offer:Professional induction, training and continued professional development opportunities.
