Summary
Supply Chain Manager - Aviation Sector
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead strategic supplier relationships and drive operational efficiency within a dynamic aviation environment. This role is pivotal in supporting fleet planning, material coordination, and contract management across technical supply chain services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee 24/7 material support for aircraft maintenance operations.
- Streamline supply-side activities to maximise value and reduce costs.
- Manage supplier performance, audits, and scorecards.
- Lead warranty and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Support RFP projects and implement forward-looking material planning.
- Develop and manage a team of Material Controllers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in aviation supply chain and logistics.
- Strong knowledge of EASA/UK CAA/FAA/TCCA regulations.
- Proven expertise in AMOS and airline maintenance procedures.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Professional qualification in commercial contracts.
- Familiarity with B747-400 and B777 aircraft is advantageous.
