We’re hiring a Social Value Lead to manage the delivery of the ISS Social Value Plan across a major government contract.

Job Description

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on turning strategy into action - ensuring social value commitments are delivered throughout the contract lifecycle, and that reporting is accurate, impactful, and timely.

You’ll lead a team of regional Community Managers, drive local delivery, and manage key partnerships that maximise benefits to people and communities.

Ideal for someone passionate about social impact, confident in stakeholder engagement, and ready to lead real change at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Own and deliver the ISS Social Value Plan regionally, meeting all contract commitments
Collate and report all qualitative and quantitative social value data against contract SPIs
Represent Social Value in Community Interest Groups, driving collaboration internally and externally
Drive continuous improvement of social value programmes in line with ISS strategy
Stay up to date on legislation and local needs to ensure programmes are relevant and best practice
Manage a regional team of 7 Community Managers to deliver through local Future Careers in FM Hubs
Support national reporting, stakeholder engagement, and upskilling on social value across the contract

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Strong understanding of social value legislation and the Central Government Social Value Model
Confident using the TOM System, including data, evidence, and reporting requirements
Skilled at managing large datasets and ensuring data accuracy
Proven line management experience, ideally leading teams of 5+
Excellent communication and project management abilities
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
Understanding of the built environment and the FM sector at the national level
