We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Deputy Head of Occupational Health/ Specialist Business Manager to support the strategic and operational delivery of our expanding, forward-thinking Occupational Health, and Wellbeing service.

To support the Associate Director Occupational Health and Wellbeing in delivering a high-quality, evidence-based, and strategic, occupational health service that promotes, protects, and supports the health, safety, and wellbeing of all staff.

The individual will play a critical role in supporting the operational delivery of services, developing governance, audit and assurance structures, and deputising for the Head of Service as required. To work as part of a multi-disciplinary senior team comprising Medical Lead, Clinical Nurse Lead, Administration Lead, Physiotherapy Lead and Wellbeing Lead, ensuring every effort is made to keep our colleagues healthy, safe and well at work.

You will be an accomplished, experienced leader with demonstrable experience in a large multisite Occupational Health and Wellbeing department with a detailed understanding of how good work contributes to good health.

This is a pivotal role within the team, providing senior leadership across a wide-ranging portfolio that includes service transformation, digital innovation, and quality improvement. You’ll work closely with the Associate Director Occupational Health and Wellbeing and multidisciplinary teams to drive high standards of care, embed SEQOHS principles, and help shape the future of occupational health delivery across one of the largest Trusts in the UK
