Summary

Working within their defined scope of practice, the post holder works as an autonomous Practitioner to assess, diagnose and plan care for patients; including prescribing of medications where qualified to do so, and where clinically indicated. What we're looking for First Level registered Nurse (NMC, ECP), or ACP MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or Relevant ANP courses at level 6 or 7, or equivalent in Advanced Physical Assessment skills, Minor Illness, disease management, etc. A Non-medical prescribing qualification Evidence of continued professional development. Satisfactory DBS clearance Experience in urgent / emergency care is essential Experience of managing acute undifferentiated presentations (desirable) Ability to triage (desirable) Understanding of autonomous practice within a minor illness/urgent care centre and the roles that deliver this About Bracknell Urgent Care Centre We operate out of a modern, purpose built facility with free parking and excellent transport links. BUCC offers a high standard of unscheduled care from early morning to late evening for patients attending with a wide variety of undifferentiated conditions. The centre is staffed primarily by our team of experienced Clinicians with additional support from other clinical and non-clinical members of staff. Within our Bracknell Urgent Care Centre we are building a well-established team of Salaried GPs, ANPs, and Practice Nurses.
