Your new company


Hays are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk, to join an established client of ours on a temp to perm basis.

Your new role

  • Accurately process invoices electronically and upload them on to the financial system.
  • Resolve internal and external invoice queries
  • Maintain supplier account balances and perform statement reconciliations
  • Manage the goods received note account
  • Provide full ledger coverage to ensure the smooth running of the department




What you'll need to succeed

You will have had experience within a Purchase Ledger position previously with the knowledge of processing invoices electronically. Including processing matching invoices, invoice query resolution, balance accounting of ledgers and knowledge of payment practices and processes. You will be able to work in a small team, have a professional attitude to work. You must be able to work independently with the ability to problem solve with good communication skills.
