Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 teacher looking for your next opportunity? Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Preston to recruit a passionate Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

Your new role
This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become permanent. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons to a well-supported Year 2 class, helping pupils build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and personal development.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
- A warm, child-centred approach to teaching and learning
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to inclusive practice and pupil progress
