The Field Service Engineer Opportunity:
We're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our fast-growing UK operations based in Essex. Since 2018, SIGMA4UK Ltd has partnered with c2c and, more recently, Avanti West Coast, delivering advanced support for ticket vending systems nationwide.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
• Providing onsite installation, maintenance, and repair for ticket vending machines at railway stations operated by Trenitalia c2c Limited
• Diagnosing faults and delivering fast, effective solutions
• Performing routine preventive maintenance to maximise machine uptime
• Working closely with SIGMA’s technical teams across the UK and Europe
• Supporting testing procedures and maintaining accurate service logs and documentation
What We're Looking For:
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with electronic or electromechanical systems (ideally TVMs or ATMs)
• Technical qualification (university degree or college diploma) or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of hardware/software troubleshooting
• Solid computer literacy and confident using laptops/software tools
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel across London to Shoeburyness, and occasionally nationwide
• Ability to spend one month in Italy for full product training (all costs covered)
Bonus Points For:
• Italian language skills
• Experience with Ticket Vending Machines, ATMs or similar self-service systems
