Summary

We're Hiring: Multi Skilled Carpenter (St Albans Area)
Location: Mobile role based in St Albans
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | 40 hours per week
Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card + Benefits

We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Multi Skilled Carpenter to join our team. This role involves maintaining and improving homes across the St Albans area through a combination of responsive and planned maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on both occupied and void properties

  • Carpentry tasks including door hanging, lock replacements, cupboard repairs, boxing in, and fitting worktops

  • Multi-trade support such as minor plumbing, tiling, and patch plastering

  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with a focus on customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Carpentry or a relevant trade

  • Ideally holds a Blue CSCS Card

  • Full UK Driving Licence (held for at least 12 months)

  • Previous experience in social housing or domestic maintenance

  • Ability to work independently with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
