Hays Education are currently recruiting for a KS1 Teacher at a welcoming Primary School in Clevedon, starting in September. This is a part-time role working 3 days a week with a Year 1 class, running until the Christmas break with the potential to extend. You can pair this with additional supply work or enjoy a balanced part-time schedule - ideal for someone seeking flexibility and consistency.
Your new role
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons to KS1 pupils.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Follow school plans and support pupil progress.
- Manage behaviour and encourage active learning.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching KS1 in a primary setting.
- Strong classroom management and adaptability.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Two recent references.
