Summary
Marathon Warehouse Distribution are recruiting for enthusiastic and reliable permanent delivery driver / warehouse operative based at our Southampton site.
Marathon is an established growing independent national automotive parts distributor with a network of delivery depots across the country.
You will be working 45 hours each week with overtime sometimes available and your day-to-day role will be dependent on each day's requirements.
The driving role will include loading your vehicle, carrying out deliveries to, and collecting returns from, our friendly customer base within the local area, while maintaining a professional and friendly relationship.
The warehouse role will include picking of stock, putting away of stock, un-loading deliveries, maintaining the cleanliness of the centre etc. along with any other duties provided by the depot manager or regional management team.
Full training will be given and you will be expected to work as part of a team.
Requirements;
Full UK driving licence (penalty points may be considered upon full disclosure)
A minimum of 2 years driving experience
A good knowledge of the local area
