Summary
We are looking for a Senior Debt Collector to join us at Huws Gray Basildon (Credit Office)!
If you’re in the trade or have ever tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. We’re the Huws Gray Group and we’re made up of several brands, including Huws Gray, Hirebase, Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, PDM, NDI and Anglia Tool Centre to name a few. Debt Collectors perform a range of customer-focused tasks when recovering debts. Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Debt Collector with Huws Gray:
Proactively collect debt from overdue account customers.
Writing letters to inform customers of their outstanding accounts
Answering phone calls from non-paying customers with questions about their debts
Calling non-paying customers and determining why their payments are outstanding
Explaining payment plan options to non-paying customers, negotiating payment terms and enrolling customers interested in these payment programs
Identifying vulnerable customers and escalating their cases to support teams
Identifying non-compliant customers and escalating their cases to insolvency teams
Servicing court orders to recover outstanding payments, in some cases
