Summary

Job Description

You will be based at Ancrum Outdoor Centre and assist the senior clerical assistant with day to day office administrative duties.

Duties will include telephone and customer counter enquiries, public and private course bookings and cash handling/ card transactions, equipment hire & servicing payments, providing statistics for Centre Manager and data input on various I.T systems including procurement orders, MRM online booking system.

You will be required to support wider Ancrum team making resources, marketing and any other admin duty required.

All necessary training shall be provided to the successful candidate.

Requirements

Nat 4 in Maths and English or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities

You will be a friendly and approachable individual with a high degree of professionalism and be reliable and timeous in your approach.

You will have previous administrative experience in a similar role within an office environment and be computer literate in Microsoft applications including word and excel and office365.

You will assist our Senior Clerical Assistant with the day to day administrative functions of Ancrum Outdoor Centre. You will deal with incoming public telephone and counter enquiries from organisations and the general public wishing to book activities with the Centre and assist the management team creating holiday adventure programmes and making them bookable on our online I.T systems.

You will handle petty cash and other financial transactions on a regular basis and deal with purchases through the organisational procurement systems.

You will also undertake and assist with other administrative tasks on a regular basis including photocopying and printing.

You will be honest and reliable with a professional outlook and have a friendly and approachable personality.

You should have previous experience of working within a busy admin office environment.
